SCOTT UREN
Founder & CEO

Scott Uren is a founding partner and President of Titan Fire Protection. He is responsible for the day to day operations of the San Diego office, as well as business development, and strategic planning.

Prior to Titan Fire Protection, Scott held various technical and managerial positions in the fire protection industry.  Scott began his career in the industry as a wildland forest fire fighter with the Ministry of Natural Resources in Ontario Canada. After graduating college, Scott accepted a position as a fire protection consultant in San Diego California developing performance based solutions to challenging fire and life safety issues, reviewing and approving Fire Protection submittals, and developing design criteria for complex storage facilities.

Scott eventually left the consulting field to begin a career in construction; beginning as a designer/project manager and progressing through positions in estimating, sales, and office manager. Throughout his construction career, Scott has constantly pursued unique and challenging projects requiring great attention to detail and creative solutions to complex issues.

In addition to his  TFP duties, Scott is also the Chair of the San Diego Chapter of the AFSA, A board member of ASA, a member of the CAFSA Unilateral Apprenticeship Committee, and a CAFSA Instructor.

Scott’s vast industry experience, education, and technical background allow Titan Fire Protection to pursue and successfully execute a broad range of projects across an array of industries
